Ranting and Raving: Employees

As much as I want to rant and rave on this topic -- I will withold my losing my temper and only state a few facts

* Employees these days want the pay, but don't want to do the work

* Employees think they can call you up 10 minutes before they are supposed to open your business and LEAVE A VOICE MAIL that they won't be there. I guess they think we have our cell phones glued to us at all times and that we have no life and are just waiting around to see who is not going to show up

* Employees think that we are there to serve them and that they are the ones that truly run the business

* Employees think that no matter what rules or policies you have -- they don't pertain to them

We need to have the employees to run our business --- but it sure would be a lot easier to not have to deal with employees

Ok.....I quit -- my blood pressure is already soaring and I need to channel my inner peace so I don't blow a gasket!
