Remember when taking pictures was easy?

I finally sat down tonight and spent a little time tackling a BIG project: Photo Management.

I remember in the "good old days" you took a picture, took the film out, and dropped if off to be developed. It was a crap shoot on how your pictures were going to come out. There were no guarantees that they weren't blurry, dark, off center, or whatever -- you just dealt with them the way they came.

Now days....it's a whole project. Because now you can crop, adjust color, retouch, straighten, and do just about anything else you want to make that picture look perfect. So now it takes time to download the pictures on the computer and then spend all the time making them look perfect before printing.

Well my computer is FULL of pictures that I have downloaded and then left them sitting in folders.

Oh every now and then I use them for Facebook, blogging, or something else -- but now I am ready to print them up and stick them in my albums with all my other mementos. I'll have to take pictures some day of what I do with the pictures I take...lol.

But anyways....since I spent so much time on this one folder -- I thought I would post some pictures of our trip to Los Angeles last September.

P.S. One thing I do have to say about getting these pictures perfect is, you conjure up all the good memories of when the pictures were taken when you start working with them again!
