I blinked
..and suddenly my children were going to be 29 and 25 in August
..and suddenly I saw the graying temples on my husband
..and suddenly the family dog hobbles, can't see, and can't hear very well
..and suddenly the house needs paint, new flooring, and some general repairs
..and suddenly I have gained a few pounds
..and suddenly that young girl I remember looks in the mirror and sees a much older version of herself
..and then I see all the blessings in my life and am very grateful for all that I have and for all who love me
