I Love NYC

Because today is 9/11.....of course everyone's thoughts today are with the tragic event that happened 11 years ago.

Certainly, that's what I've been remembering today as well. But then, I am also remembering what a great place that it was to visit back in March and to get to celebrate our 15th anniversary in such a great place!

This was the first thing we saw of NYC when we popped out of the subway at our stop. Our first vision of what this exciting city actually looked like.

It's so much to go and visit a city that seems so much different from the one you live. I never had had the desire to live in the downtown part of a city.....but for some reason NYC had magic about it. It was fun to see the grocery stands on the street. It was fun to go to Starbucks every morning and sitting there watching the neiborhood come to life with families pushing strollers, people walking dogs, and people just living their normal life in the big city.

We sat and talked about how great that would be. We just wouldn't like it in the winter time, as we are NOT snow or cold people. How fun it would be to not have a car and rely on public transportation (we might not be like that part so much if we lived there on a full time basis).

What a fun trip that was. What a fun place it was to visit. What a short amount of time we had to see it.

I can say with certainty, it's definitely a city that we will visit again sometime in the future! I LOVE NYC!!
