Mission: To lose weight and be healthy by the time we get to Tucson
Plan: Exercise (ha ha ha) and eat healthier
I just got a bunch of books from the library on eating vegetarian and healthy cooking. Went through the first one and found TONS of exciting recipes (they have to be exciting or I don't plan on making them or eating them).
So today I went to the grocery store with an actual grocery list and bought all the things we needed to eat a NO MEAT week. We'll see how it goes.
My cart contained rice, whole wheat rice, couscous, lentils, fresh veggies, cheese, green chilies, and tortillas.
I have lots of great recipes to try this week. We'll either have a great week or by Friday we'll be buying steak and hamburger again.
My goal is to lose at least 10 pounds by the time I get to Tucson!
Game on!
