Long day of crunching numbers. Needed and deserved a quiet moment. Outside on the back porch with the blue skies and storm clouds coming in from the south. 90 degrees - but a nice breeze blowing, which made in enjoyable.
Close my eyes and listen to the wind chimes clacking and birds chirping.....how peaceful it is. How wonderful to just quietly sit and enjoy this simple moment.
The you open your eyes and see......
the grass needs mowed
the house needs painted
the siding needs repaired
the bamboo needs cut down and eliminated
you know how it is.......but for two minutes I really enjoyed my quiet moment.

I can really relate to what you are saying! There is ALWAYS something that needs to be done!
I think about those thngs every time I try and get a break.
